Dear Friend,

You may have read last week's Orange County Register article featuring AIDS Services Foundation and the challenges we face during these difficult economic times.  For the first time in our twenty three year history, we have instituted a waiting list for new clients.  In October, the leadership of ASF made some tough decisions to ensure the strength of the agency; eleven staff positions were eliminated and we reduced our operating budget due to the downturn in the economy and it's affect on private donations.
 
While we cannot control or predict the economy, we have worked to ensure that ASF will be there now and in the future to provide health and hope to men, women, children and families in our community living with HIV/AIDS. 
 
In these difficult times your support, both emotional and financial, is more critical than ever!  Please take a few minutes to read the article from the Orange County Register and consider making an additional financial gift to ASF before the end of the year.  Your tax deductible donation will help to provide food, shelter, emotional support and additional critical resources to our clients.
