What is OCRA?
OCRA is a one day, weekend ride limited to 250 riders. A $50.00 registration fee will begin your fundraising requirements. Each rider is required to meet a minimum fundraising goal of $125. The 7th annual Orange County Ride for AIDS will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
OCRA offers Century (100 miles), Metric Century (62 miles) and “Taste of OCRA” (30 mile) rides. Starting in Irvine at the William R. Mason Regional Park, the ride travels through some of the most scenic biking areas of Orange County before returning to the original starting point in Irvine.
OCRA riders will be required to raise a minimum of $125. Your registration fee can be included in that total.
TEAM OC will be conducting training rides throughout the year and beginning in July for beginners ready to ride for a reason. Before you begin logging too many miles, we recommend that your bike has been properly fitted for you. Many local bike shops will offer this service for a small fee.
Visit teamoccycling.org for more information about training rides.
All riders are required to be present at the Safety Presentation during the Opening Ceremonies on the day of the event.
It is a requirement of the OCRA ride to wear a helmet for the event and for all TEAM OC training rides.
The 2016 jersey is currently in the design phase.
Jerseys are $75 (of which $30 is tax deductible) and available for purchase through the registration process. They are available in sizes Small through XX-Large. Check back soon for offline order forms for those who wish to purchase the jersey without registering or for those who registered before the jersey was available online.
Jerseys will available for pick-up on the day of the event at the start at the William R. Mason Regional Park.
