All Participants for the 2016 AIDS Walk Orange County & Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run must be registered! You cannot participate in the event unless you have registered.
A minimum registration fee of $25 is required. The registration fee may be applied to AIDS Walk or the Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run. You have the option of either paying the minimum registration fee or fundraising to meet the minimum goal. It’s up to you! However, to participate in the 2016 AIDS Walk Orange County at the William R. Mason Regional Park, you must have raised or donated at least $25.* Select the Standard registration type to pay the $25 minimum upfront, or opt to raise the minimum $25 by selecting the Fundraiser registration type.
While the standard registration fee is $25, you may want to contribute more. If so, you may select one of the alternative registration fee levels. The registration fee is a fully tax-deductible donation.
Day of Event Participant Check-in will open at the site at 6:30 am. Walkers and Runners who have not paid their registration fee on-line, by mail, or personally at AIDS Services Foundation may submit their fee and any additional funds they have raised at the Participant Check-in. Runners may pick up their race bib at Participant Check-in.
Participants may also pick up their incentive prizes at the Participant Check-in.
AIDS Walk Orange County: The 30th annual AIDS Walk Orange County offers a picturesque 5 km walk route through the William R. Mason Regional Parks lush green spaces! The Walk opening ceremony will commence at 9:30 am at the Festival Main Stage and the Walk will kick-off at 10:00 am. A minimum $25 registration fee is required for Walk participation. All proceeds from the walk fund HIV/AIDS prevention and support programs in Orange County.
Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run: AIDS Walk Orange County will once again include a Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run to bring runners to our historic community charity event.
The Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run is an untimed, non-competitive, all-inclusive running event for runners of all fitness levels. The main requirement is that you have heart and want to unite with other runners in the fight to end AIDS in Orange County!
A minimum $25 registration fee is required for Run participation. All proceeds from the run fund HIV/AIDS prevention and support programs in Orange County.
The Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run is less about your speed and performance and more about health, compassion, and community! The 5 km route winds through the newly-developed green spaces at the William R. Mason Regional Park and will feature water stations, entertainment, cheering, and cookies at the finish line! There will be prizes for the top 3 most outrageous costumes! The half mile route markers will be made by children who are directly, personally impacted by HIV/AIDS and who attend AIDS Services Foundation’s Kid’s Club. These markers will serve as a reminder about why this run is so important.
After the run, all runners will be called on stage to receive their Ribbon of Honor. Runners are invited to stay and join in all the fun of the AIDS Walk Festival with live music, food and drink, carnival booths, art, and the AIDS Memorial Quilt and tent.
The 2016 AIDS Walk Orange County is a 5 km (3.2 miles) walk through the lush green pathways of the William R. Mason Regional Park. AIDS Walk kicks off at 10:00 am. The Red Ribbon 5k Fun Run is the same route and distance as AIDS Walk and commences at 8:00 am.

* Children under the age of 3 do not need to register to participate in AIDS Walk Orange County at the Orange County Great Park. Walkers, ages three and up, must be registered.
